Benu Maya Gurung – Program Coordinator at AATWIN
Ms. Benu Maya Gurung is program coordinator at the Alliance Against Trafficking in Women and Children in Nepal (AATWIN), a pioneer network that campaigns to end human trafficking problems. AATWIN was the first organization in Nepal to recognize human trafficking as human rights violation and organized crime and has built collaboration and synergies among the actors on this field. Benu believes that the survivor and affected group shall have a voice and that this voice shall be heard.
