My research projects concerns the construction of the Lower Sesan 2 hydropower dam in Northeastern Cambodia. I am currently focusing on how affected communities and actors form civil society organize their protest against the expected negative social and environmental impacts, the lack of consultation and participation, and the compensation and resettlement measures that are deemed insufficient.
