During the internship, I am involved in the "China Project" which is initiated to better understand China's role in the Mekong Region. My main tasks are to conduct case studies on specific Chinese investor and land issues, to report on Chinese investment in Cambodia and its environmental governance, as well as to find strategies to facilitate dialogues between Chinese investors and local NGOs.
