Dr. Heike Löschmann is Director of the Cambodia office of the Heinrich Böll Foundation (HBF). She first came to Cambodia following the UNTAC-sponsored elections, establishing HBF’s presence in the country. She subsequently served as Founding Director of the Foundation’s regional programs in Thailand and Myanmar, Head of the International Politics Department in Berlin, and Director of HBF’s Tunisia office. She returned to Cambodia in January 2025 to lead the Foundation’s work in the country.
