The Unseen Victims of Sexual Abuse Published: 10 June 2025 Misconceptions about sexual abuse often leave one group of survivors largely invisible: boys. This article highlights how gender stereotypes and silence around masculinity contribute to the under-recognition of sexual abuse against boys in Cambodia, and showcases the work of educators and civil society actors striving to raise awareness and support survivors. By challenging myths and opening dialogue, it calls for a more inclusive understanding of gender-based violence and child protection.
