Some sort of garbage problem in Kep

Image credits Obviously Kep got some sort of garbage problem that might affect the health of people and animals but will also have consequences for the tourism industry. The hbs initiative of cleaning the beach is only a short term solution. It would be better not to pollute environment in the first place.

On our way to Siem Reap: too much rubbish in the midst of beautiful nature. Really sad. More rubbish collecting action like that of some youth in Siem Reap needed.

Image credits Once again, the Heinrich Boell Stiftung Cambodia organized a 3 day seminar on “History, Conflict, Peace and Climate Change: Past and Present Challenges for Cambodia and ASEAN” last July 9-11, 2017 which took place at the Meta House, Phnom Penh. This seminar was also held last 2016 where Dr. Bernd Schaefer, a global fellow and former senior scholar at the Woodrow Wilson Center Cold War International History Project lead the lecture and discussion.
